I love an excuse to dress up and I am going to a friend’s party and it is to have a theme. She is turning forty and she decided to make it really good fun and childish and so is having a children’s party theme. I think that it sounds like great fun and she plans on making cup cakes and doing crisps and sweets and jelly and ice cream, just like you would expect at a children’s party. She is also asking people to come in novelty hats. She said that she was going to give out birthday hats but found that they were not very exciting and so decided that it would be great if people could make their own party hats. Some people were rather keen on the idea and others were not, well out of the ones that I have talked to anyway. I think it is a really interesting idea and it will be great to see who makes an effort and who does not. I have decided that I will make myself a crown out f gold card and stick some jewels on it. Pretty simple I suppose but it will match my outfit really well and that is all that matters to me really! I know that I will not win so I will not be making too much of an effort.
